TAS ARCHITECTS

Located in Sintra, the TAS ARCHITECTS studio is an architectural space distinguished by its sensitive approach to the eco-social and multicultural context. Founded in 2021 by Tiago Andre Santos, an architect graduated from the Universidade Lusiada de Lisbon and a Ph.D. candidate, the studio reflects a synthesis of local and global experience.

With a path that includes work in national and international studios, such as Terrapalha in Sintra, GJP Arquitectos in Lisbon, and the Archi-Tectonics studio of Winka Dubbeldam in New York, it brings a unique perspective to each project.

The studio specializes in a variety of scales, ranging from single-family homes, multi-residential projects to commercial and institutional design. The studio works closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams and other partner studios, offering integrated and innovative architectural solutions.

Additionally, training in Permaculture in Jordan, under the guidance of masters such as Bill Mollison, Geoff Lawton, and Brad Lancaster, further enriches the design with ecological and sustainable principles, creating spaces that resonate with their users and the community.

Each project is developed with a focus on harmoniously integrating into its environment, respecting both the natural landscape and the urban and cultural fabric in which it is set. The studio's approach is marked by a commitment to sustainability, functionality, and aesthetics, always seeking to create spaces that resonate with their users and the community.
